Every application must be supported by two references, at least one of which must be academic. Referees should download and complete the following pro forma and email it to k.phimister@ed.ac.uk from an institutional (e.g. ending in @ed.ac.uk) or professional account. References which are sent by the applicant, or by the referee from a personal email account, will be disregarded. Chinese academics who do not have an instututional email account may post a printed version to Kirsten Phimister (address details are given in Further Information), on the condition that the reference pro forma is signed and stamped.
