Fees
Tuition Fees
In common with other universities in the United Kingdom, there are separate scales of fees for students whose status is 'Home' (i.e. UK or European Union) and those whose status is 'Overseas'.
The tuition fees for entry in 2010/11 are:
Taught and Research MSc programmes:
Home/EU: £5,100
Overseas: £11,750
MPhil and PhD programmes:
Home/EU: tbc
Overseas: £10,300

Additional Programme Costs
In addition to tuition fees, students admitted to postgradute study in the School of Arts, Culture and Environment are required to pay Additional Programme Costs, also known as Bench Fees. These are collected by Registry along with tuition fees at matriculation. Unlike tuition fees, there is no separate scale for Home/EU and Overseas students. Please note that funding bodies will not cover Additional Programme Costs.
The Additional Programme Costs for entry in 2009/10 were:
Taught Programmes:
MSc Advanced Architectural Design (Architectural and Urban Design from 2010): £800
MSc Advanced Sustainable Design: £500
MSc Cultural Studies: £100
MSc Design and Digital Media: £800
MSc Sound Design: £800
MSc The City: £800
Research Programmes:
MSc Architectural Design Practices (Reflective Design Practices from 2010): £300
MSc by Research Architecture: £300
MSc by Research Digital Media and Culture: £300
MPhil Architecture: £300
PhD Architecture: £300
PhD by Design: £300
These fees are subject to change for entry in 2010/11.
