I am an English student and came to study architecture in Edinburgh for a number of reasons: firstly because of the reputation of the course and the diversity it offers especially being able to choose outside options in second year. I was also impressed by the workshop facilities which seem to be improved upon each year, for example, the purchase of the laser cutter. I also wanted to come to Edinburgh because it is such a beautiful city and I think, especially for an architecture student, this is very important.
