Conferences, Workshops and Summer Schools serve as significant points of focus for developing and exploring research themes. ESALA hosts a workshop each year and a major conference every two years.
ESALA has an active research programme that seeks to engage with specialists in architectural design, theory and all related visual and cultural disciplines. In this context, the resources of the Matthew Architecture Gallery, lecture and seminar spaces of the ESALA and the School of Arts Culture and the Environment are deployed throughout the calendar year for conferences and symposia derived from specific academic research interests.
